The Social Democrats, the party of Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen: despite its worst result since 1903 in the March 2026 election, since June 2026 it has led a minority government with SF, the Moderates and the Social Liberals. Universal welfare, a very strict line on immigration, major rearmament and support for Ukraine, and a green transition.
